Depot Maintenance

If your business is located outside of our Service Area but you've fallen in love with our Company because of our nice, sparkly website and keen sense of humor, Depot Maintenance may be the solution for you! With Depot Maintenance, you send us your printer (please make sure it's packaged well!), we'll fix it on up according to your instructions, and ship it on back when we're done. Typically, our turnaround time for Depot Maintenance is about 1-2 business days. Payment is required before your printer is returned for first time Depot Customers. Sorry...them's the rules! We accept all major credit cards for Depot Maintenance.

DO PEOPLE ACTUALLY DO THIS?
Yes! Depot Maintenance is a popular method of printer repair for businesses that are a little 'off the beaten path' but still have printer repair needs. We receive printers from as far away as Alaska for Depot Service!

WHAT DO YOU CHARGE FOR SHIPPING?
As a courtesy for our Depot Maintenance Customers, printers are returned via FedEx (preferred) or UPS Ground at COST. We do not charge a premium to have your printer returned to you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PRINTER ARRIVES DAMAGED?
Upon being received, your printer is carefully unpackaged and fully inspected to check for broken case parts and other cosmetic defects. Our Technicians carefully note all such defects. It will then be tested and compared to the information you have enclosed with the printer. If they match, we will continue repairing your unit. If there are significant differences, we will contact you using the information provided and advise you of the differences.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PRINTER RETURNS DAMAGED?
Let us know! We can't fix what we don't know about! Our Shipping Department packages printers on a weekly basis for shipping. We know how to package printers! In the rare event you receive your unit damaged in transit, we will fix the printer for FREE and pay for the shipping back to our Shop.

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED?
When you ship a printer to us for repairs, please note the symptom (i.e. - printer is in pieces), short history (i.e. - there was a paper jam and we smashed it with a sledgehammer), and expected resolution (i.e. - 'repair as needed' or 'quote for repairs' or 'make pretty art with the pieces'). Also, include your return SHIPPING address, and Contact name, phone number, and email. That's it! Pretty simple, huh?
